The Society of London Art Dealers

Do take a look at the SLAD website. The Society of London Art Dealers was founded in 1932 to promote and protect the good name and interests of the art trade, and to enhance public confidence in responsible fine art dealing. Its members, around 100, have a proven reputation in their field and have signed an undertaking to observe high standards of fair and honest dealing.

Membership of the Society is open to firms throughout the United Kingdom engaged in the sale of all forms of the visual arts. SLAD is a member of CINOA and FEAGA. The members of SLAD have been part of ratline since 1996. They, along with members of six other prominent art associations form the base for dealers and their artists on artline.

We believe it is important to know about the art dealer as well as artists. Therefore ratline features information about a member dealer and their gallery each month.
