Robert Klein Gallery named Best of Boston

Robert Klein Gallery of Boston, Massachusetts, has been showing the work of Diane Arbus and Annie Leibovitz since it was founded in 1980. Now, for the second year in a row, it’s been named Best Art Gallery, Photography, by Boson Magazine. The magazine says:

“Few Boston galleries can claim to have an international following, but this small

fourth-floor boutique on Newbury Street is a big-league player. When Robert Klein

founded his gallery more than 30 years ago, he was one of the  first to exhibit works

by [artists such as]  Sally Mann. Throughout the years, his unerring eye for

photography’s best has resulted  in a collection that rivals any in the world.”

Michael Kenna, La Trappa, Vieille, Nice, France, 1996, sepia tone gelatin silver print, 7 1/2 x 7 1/2″
